CEO, Herbified Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Abdul Qadir is a research-driven entrepreneur and applied scientist working at the interface of Ayurveda, nutraceutical sciences and industrial manufacturing. He currently leads research and product innovation at Herbified Healthcare, with a primary focus on Shilajit-based formulations and functional herbal delivery systems.
His research career is centred on the scientific validation, standardisation and scalable processing of natural mineral-organic exudates, especially Shilajit, for use in food and nutraceutical applications. His work aims to convert traditional knowledge into reproducible, compliant and industry-ready products.
Dr. Qadir’s core research domains include chemical and functional profiling of Shilajit, optimisation of water-based extraction and purification processes, low-temperature concentration techniques for preservation of bio-active constituents, and development of modern functional formats such as resin systems, honey-based sticks and customised nutraceutical blends.
A significant part of his research activity focuses on quality and safety frameworks, including heavy-metal control, microbial safety, batch-to-batch consistency, raw-material traceability and analytical repeatability. He actively designs and validates internal quality SOPs covering raw material qualification, in-process checks and finished-product release criteria aligned with regulatory and export requirements.
Dr. Qadir is particularly involved in applied research on Shilajit chemistry beyond conventional markers. His technical work explores the functional relevance of organic fractions, trace minerals and low-molecular-weight constituents, and their behaviour during processing, concentration and storage. This research supports the development of stable, reproducible and commercially scalable Shilajit products.
He collaborates with formulation scientists, university researchers and NABL-accredited analytical laboratories for phytochemical profiling, process validation and formulation feasibility studies. These collaborations are structured to generate industry-oriented outcomes such as scalable manufacturing processes, improved analytical control strategies and export-ready documentation, rather than purely academic outputs.
Dr. Qadir is also engaged in scientific writing and technical documentation related to Shilajit and functional Ayurvedic ingredients. His ongoing work includes review-based and applied research studies focusing on the broader chemical composition of Shilajit, evidence-based evaluation of its functional applications and development of practical quality benchmarks for commercial materials.
His applied R&D approach emphasises translation of research into manufacturable solutions. Each formulation and process is evaluated for regulatory feasibility, production scalability, shelf-life performance and commercial sustainability. This approach has directly contributed to the development of Shilajit resin systems, functional Shilajit honey sticks and customised private-label nutraceutical solutions.
Dr. Abdul Qadir’s long-term research vision is to establish science-supported, standardised Shilajit and functional Ayurvedic ingredient systems suitable for global nutraceutical markets. He aims to contribute towards future quality guidelines and reference standards for natural exudates, while strengthening collaboration between academic research and compliant industrial manufacturing.
